DISCUSSION WITH SUPERVISOR REGARDING FYP PROPOSAL Week :      4 Date:        28th  October 2022 Activity:  We have a meeting in MS Teams, bellow is the agenda of the meeting: Objective: To discuss about FYP Proposal (Introduction, Problem Statement & Objective) To discuss about Market Validation (Market Survey) To discuss about Project Planning (WBS Diagram & Gantt Chart) Content: In this week, my supervisor, Dr Zaki showed some examples of introductions, problem statements and objectives of past projects, he showed examples of good and poor proposal writing. He instructed me to start writing the FYP Proposal so that I would not rush later. In addition, I was introduced about Work Breakdown Structure or WBS Diagram, it breaks down a project in a visual, part by part and focus on one topic. SEARCHING FOR SUITABLE TITLE FOR FINAL YEAR PROJECT Week :      3 Date:        21st  October 2022 Activity:  Searching for suitable title for final year project. Searching for previous project. Register FYP. Objective: To find suitable title for my final year project. Result: After several discussions with my supervisor and doing some research from internet, I chose "Aquatic Life Measurement & Monitoring System" as the title of my final year project.  Few characteristic features of my project: This project use Computer Vision as the main system for the project. Able to recognize fish based on the examples that has been trained. Able to estimate the length, width and weight of the fish.

FYP BRIEFING Week :      2 Date:        12th October 2022 Activity:  Listen and understand the responsibilities and matters related to final year project. Objective: To understand matters related to the final year project. Content: In this week, I have listened and learned about final year project briefed by Sir Mohamad Shaiful Osman. He told about process of FYP claims, budget, claimable items and unclaimable items. He also talked about the list of dates that we as FYP students need to follow and attend. FIND, MEET AND PROPOSE AN IDEA FOR FINAL YEAR PROJECT Week :     1 Date:        7th October 2022 Activity:  Ask recommendation from friends. Ask lecturer for availability. Meeting with Supervisor (Dr. Mohd Zaki Ayob) Propose an idea for final year project Objective: To find suitable supervisor for Final Year Project. To propose my project idea. To make sure my proposed project is realistic.   Content: After doing several searches looking for a supervisor and ask for lecturer availability, I decided to choose Dr. Mohd Zaki Ayob as my supervisor, he is very welcoming and supportive.   Dr. Mohd Zaki Ayob is a Senior Lecturer with more than 20 years teaching and research experience.
